I’m going to talk about a touchy subject for some. I’m talking about “Black Lives Matter” Blm. I believe that there is still to much racism in America but I don’t agree the way blm movement has gone about getting attention. Awareness of how blacks are racial profiled needs to be delta with, but causing riots, looting and crime takes away everything that blm is trying to accomplish.
Looking back into the sixties up til now, America has come a long way on racial issues. America still has a way to go but some of the racial problems are brought on by blacks themselfs.
This goes for everybody not just blacks. We need to take responsibility for what we do or not do. Don’t blame someone for your lot in life don’t blame someone because you can’t find a job or get put into jail or anything else that might happen to you in your life. There are millions of people who think that life should hand anything they want to them and if they don’t get it they find someone to blame. I don’t know when or where this idea ever started but it is very destructive to life itself.
We need to learn to take responsibility for everything we do. When things go wrong we need to take a step back re-evaluate what has happened, make changes, take responsibility and move on learning from our mistake and hopefully next time avoid making the same mistake.
So again I will say, Black Lives do Matter and it is a good thing to work to eliminate racism. Where I disagree is blaming other people for their problems.
Every one should treat each other with respect and care regardless of race, color or nationality, but we also need to understand that if I am not happy the way life is treating me, I need not start blaming others but look in the mirror and start making changes there. We need to take the plank out of our own eye before taking a splinter from our neighbor’s eye.
Take responsibility for your own actions and you will be surprised how differently things will start looking.
So glad to see you writing again!!! Love and miss you guys!!😄❤
