Amazing!

I was thinking about my nose. Strange, right? Have you ever wondered if our nose was placed somewhere different on our face or body?

What would it be like if our nose were on our forehead? We would probably be bumping it all the time; we would have to wear hats differently.

Would we let our hair grow over our nose, or would we keep the hair short?

If our nose were on our forehead, what would be in the empty space where our nose is now?

The human body itself is a masterpiece of art. Then, when you consider how the body functions—whew, I can’t even imagine trying to create something like that.

Every element of the body has to work together for it to function properly.

Then think about the reproduction of the body, from conception to birth. All the things that have to be perfect to create a healthy new life.

Our bodies are amazing, and yet we often treat them badly. We do things to them that will destroy living cells; we scar the outside tissues, and some pierce the body (not just the ears). I’ve seen piercings in unbelievable places, and it gives me chills to think about how painful that is.

When God created man, it was truly a work of art. God has to be powerful to create something that is so sophisticated yet soft, that can breathe air, talk, sleep, think, and eat.

When you think of how the body is designed and how everything works together, it’s hard to believe that people think we evolved from a single cell millions of years ago.

God created us in one day! He didn’t spend weeks or months designing us.

If you want to see God’s power on display, all you need to do is look at your children, your spouse, significant other, neighbor, co-worker—anyone. Everywhere you look, you see God’s amazing power walking or running.

We serve the most powerful, loving God. What does God ask in return?

OUR LOVE!

That’s it. All He wants from us is to love and cherish Him.

Why is that so hard for some of us to do? Yet, there are millions of people in the world who ignore Him and take His name in vain.

We have been given two gifts of life. Yes, two. The gift of being born a human, and the second gift is the gift of eternal life.

I am glad I serve a Father who is so powerful; He designed every part of me with care. I am so ashamed of how there have been times that I have mistreated it, introducing things into it that could damage it.

We are God’s creation. We need to treat our bodies with respect to give respect to the One who created us in the first place.

God is my One True King!

May God’s peace always abide in you.
