Today, I finished up my last therapy session for my knee. While I am delighted, excited and also obtained my goals on the long and somtimes painful road to recovery, it was bitter-sweet.
It is a great feeling to be able to have the flexibility and stableness back in my knee and the ability to walk with no or very little pain, but it is also sad that I had to say goodbye to the therapy staff and my therapists.
The staff where I did therapy was outstanding. While I did most of my therapy with one therapist, I also had another therapist take over for a few weeks while my regular one went on vacation. During my time at therapy, we had many discussions about life, about our country but mostly about Christ.
You see, both of my therapists were born again Christians. I had no pick of the therapist before hand and we had a great time getting to know each other. What a blessing it was being able to share all that God has done for us. We had our own church at every session.
From my very first therapy session to the last, God had his hand in every moment of my recovery.
I am so glad I have a gracious Father who watches literally every step I take.
I hope you find or have rest in Christ’s loving care. He is the only One True King.
