Yesterday, my niece’s husband just finished up his last Physical therapy session for his knee replacement.
When I heard about it, I was instantly overjoyed and wished we lived closer so I could give him a huge hug and say WELL DONE!
Some of you may say “so what’s the big deal?” It is a very big deal. From experience and also going through physical therapy for knee replacement. The surgery in itself is not to bad, but its the recovery time and retraining of the knee muscles is the painful and hard part.
In my previous blog, “Do the work” you have to sometimes suffer through a little pain to know the true victory.
I know my niece well enough that eventhough she is very fun and outgoing, I know the drive with her husband to therapy 2 or 3 times a week got very old. Their drive is not a 15- 20 minute ride, it was much more than that. So yes, I am excited with them.
It is a huge weight off their shoulders and also a very huge deal that her husband can now enjoy walking pain free.
Our God is a great and Gracious God. He gives us victory over physical ailments if we are willing to do the work before hand.
I celebrate with my niece, her husband and children because the road to get where they are at was a rough one. Hanging on to Gods truth, having faith and believing, they now are blessed with VICTORY!
God, you are so AWESOME!
Thank you, Uncle Tim!! Love and miss you guys!! Praise God, He is so good!!!😄❤
