From the mouth of a young boy child came this delightful event.
One day my teacher asked what my favorite animal was, and I said “fried chicken”.
She said I wasn’t funny, but she couldn’t have been right, because all the kids in my class laughed. My teacher sent me down to the principal’s office and I told him what happened and he laughed too. Then he said, “A fried chicken is not really what your teacher was asking you. After a chicken is fried it becomes food not an animal.”
My parents told me to always tell the truth. So I did, fried chicken is my favorite animal.
I told my parents what happened and Dad said, “the teacher was probably a member to P.E.T.A. He said they love animals very much”. I do too. Especially chicken, pork and beef.
The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was. I told her it was chickens. She asked me why, and I told her it was because you could make them into fried chickens. She sent me back to the principal’s office. He laughed again, and told me I shouldn’t say that either.
I don’t understand, my parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn’t like it when I am.
Today my teacher asked me to tell her what famous person I admire the most.
I told her “Colonel Sanders”
Guess where I am now?…..

We all need to take time and lighten up a little. Life is too short to worry about things that will happen tomorrow that we probably can’t change anyway.
