Spoiler Alert

Have you ever read a good mystery or murder novel and someone see’s what you are reading and then tells you what happens? Ruins the rest of the book for you doesn’t it.

In life, you always find those people who no matter how well things are going they always seem to drag everybody down. Maybe they don’t do it on purpose but every time they speak they can change what is a good time into down and out doom. I feel sorry for those types of people. They usually have very little friends (it’s not hard to understand that) and their outlook on life is very poor. I know there are many different reasons for people to have this kind of outlook on life but the fact still remains, that when you are around them they try to pull you down to their level.

I am not a psychiatrist and don’t have any skills in helping these types of people however, I do know one man who can change a person’s self-image and soul in an instance. He has walked and lived on this earth, been through the pains of life (harder life than we will ever experience) been tempted, went through horrendous amount of pain and was even put to death without ever committing any type of crime. This man was Jesus. Jesus has already been were we are, already knows the pain we feel, has been tempted, bullied, made fun of, ridiculed, spit on and called names. Jesus has experienced everything we have and more and yet He remained blameless and sinless. Jesus was and is the only perfect man who will ever walk on this earth. Our job as christians is to show these types of people the love of which Jesus showed to everyone He came in contact with.

Just remember, there are millions of people who are living in darkness and searching to find fulfillment. To most of them, life is a drag and no hopes of ever being happy or satisfied. When they look at us what are they seeing? Are they seeing Christ in our actions or speech?

Christ gave us an awesome responsiblity to go into the world and share the news of how Christ can change your outlook on life.
