Your Choice

I love to sit and listen to people talk. You can learn so much about a person by just listening. The thing that amazes me is how somebody will praise and thank God when life is going great, then turn and curse God when life produces pot holes and deep valleys.

When God created man and women, He could have chosen not to give us our own mind to make decisions. Instead, God gave us the ability to think and choose for ourselves. When we choose to do things are own way and tell God we don’t need him on this one. We are taking our life into our own hands. Oh yes, things may go great for a little while, but eventually we will create heartache and troubles God never intended for us. Then we have the audacity to blame God?

God gives us choices, many choices everyday. It is up to us to decide which ones we choose. To help us make right choices, God also wrote a wonderful book that has lasted for 2,000 years. It is a book that will teach us how to make right choices, how to treat other people, how to live life to its fullest. The book is called “Bible” and in it, there are truths about anything you dare to seek out. You of course, has to choose to read it. Not just once, but on a daily basis.

When you are faced with any decision, the question to ask yourself is; Is this what I would choose if Christ were standing next to me? If you have to hide, sneak or worry about getting caught, then it probably is not the right choice.

God gave us free will. We can choose to follow Him, or we can choose not too. The choice is yours.
