Have you ever gone into a unfamiliar room in the dark? You have no idea where the light switch is, so you fumble around touching and feeling the wall, moving your arms about in front of you, hoping you don’t run into anything. Just wishing you could just see a little bit to find that eluding light switch?
There is so many people in this world that are in the dark. Fumbling around to find something to fill that void they feel in their lives. They are searching and hoping to find that eluding light switch so they can see where they are going.
As Christians, we were once in the dark but when we gave our life to Jesus, the darkness was turned to light. The light switch was found and we can now see where we are going. Our great commission given to us from God, is to go out into the world and preach the gospel to everyone. Mark 16:15 We need to be that light switch for the world by showing love to a person who hates you, forgiving when someone has done you wrong, using kindness instead of revenge. Being a witness for God is not always telling someone your a christian. Our actions and reactions will always speak louder than words. We are being watched by people in our lives everyday. Our speech, emotions, how we treat others should always be different than the worlds. The light of course, is Christ shinning through us with everything we do. We are the light of the world, we are different, let’s not be afraid to show it. This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine………
